Cut and Paste Aging Effects
Photographer Bobby Neel Adams has a mesmerising exhibition that he calls Age Maps. Using [-the computer-] manual techniques, he splices together two photographs of the same person, as a child or teenager in one of them and as an adult in the other. Each of the newer photographs are carefully staged to match the pose and lighting of the older photograph to make the splicing more seamless. Beautiful!
This is one of these brillant ideas I wish I'd thought of myself. ;-)

Hello Mar-
My name is Bobby Neel Adams the artist you refer to in your review of Age-maps. I would like to correct a mis-statement. I have never used a computer in my life to do any of my work. These photographs are completely done by hand.
Thanks for your review.
Akk the best
