At 23:20: Cut and Paste Aging Effects 

Photographer Bobby Neel Adams has a mesmerising exhibition that he calls Age Maps. Using [-the computer-] manual techniques, he splices together two photographs of the same person, as a child or teenager in one of them and as an adult in the other. Each of the newer photographs are carefully staged to match the pose and lighting of the older photograph to make the splicing more seamless. Beautiful!

This is one of these brillant ideas I wish I'd thought of myself. ;-)
