At 17:26: "The xml source is not available for viewing"
Head geek, Tim Bray, makes note of my casual linking to his CSS is Not Rocket Science article and pokes fun at my photo. ;-)
Tim, in my rant I was wenting fumes because of how Internet Explorer seems to disable "View Source" or "Save As.." for XML documents if they have CSS styling applied via a <?xml-stylesheet ... ?>
declaration. (My particular case is a RSS file). IE's error message: "The xml source is not available for viewing"
I have found this behaviour to be true for both IE5.5 and IE6.0 on several computers, but I've received a report from someone who claims to be able to view the XML source. I've searched Google, MSDN and other search engines for answers, but to no avail. This is all very ...well, eh.. confusing.
Any suggestions?
