Search Engines Increase Traffic (duh!)
I never new this, but search engines really drive up your web traffic. The Google engine at Yahoo! just finished indexing my site (for the first time since I made my URLs pretty) and this raised the number of visitors per day considerably.
Google himself has still not indexed my site (apart from the main page) so it seems that daddy Google is less active than baby Yahoo Google, which is probably just as good for Google since Yahoo are paying them good money for using their search engine technology. (Competing with your customers is bad.)
I guess all Google needs is to be a working proof-of-concept just good enough to better Alta Vista, Excite, Lycos, etc. Anything more than that would only scare away potential customers. - Am I wrong?
Anyhoo, try to search for "free pron" at Yahoo! Guess who's at the top! :o)

You've lost your top spot on the Yahoo search for "free pron" - but my tribute to this old joke of yours is now #59 on Yahoo!

Yup, this old entry just came back online after almost 18 months offline. The search engines haven't even seen it yet. I expect to reclaim my top spot any day now. :-)
