Pub-hunting!

Yesterday evening was fun. Steve took us not only for *a beer*, but for a few.

We got to se a nice sample of the different pubs around the Covent Garden - Leischester Square area, and also some close to the magnificent St. Pauls Church.

Yup, this means that we figured out where to meet with Steve. That was Covent Garden. However, getting there proved to be a problem. Just before we went on the bus, we realized that we'd run out of available money, so we had to scrape together every penny we had to get on the bus to Covent Garden. There we were going to find an Internet outlet to transfer more money into our debit-card before we started pubbing.

Well, the plan seemed solid enough, but of course we took the wrong bus and ended no closer to Covent Garden than Victoria St. where we had to find a different Internet outlet, transfer money, play hide-and-seek with cashpoints for a while, stand in a line, buy tube tickets, etc. We finally met up with Steve almost an hour too late.

So much for us trying to pass for punctual Brits...
