Forbes article Ghost in the machine, tells of how a NY company has stared marketing AI agents (called neugents) which will be employed on variety of computers and networks to monitor and manage all sorts of activities. The whole thing is still highly experimental and the article is very vague, but this sill sounds interesting.

At 03:00: Cool Screen Design Fonts and Stuff
My mate Baldur has been sending me some neat font links recently.
Caloundra SeveNet Mini7 are all tiny screen-fonts desiged at seven pixels in height.
Fontpool.com has quite a large collection of free TrueType fonts, and i/us' Dingbat pages offer a vide variety of sign- and symbol fonts.
Also for those who do web-safe colors: Visibone.com has an almost useful web safe color-swatch for Photoshop and ImageReady.

Liquid html? is it really such a good thing? Birgitte Eaton, of eatonweb (bw: Javascript needed), axes an old and oft-asked question but adds a couple of interesting perspectives.
Peterme has a very good short piece on frames. Frames: Information Vs. Application. His rant pretty much sums up my thoughts on the use of HTML-frames.
Peterme seems like a smart guy. He's got a nice collection of rants about interface design - and he's got a weblog too!

Learning about Usability is an article by Jacob Nielsen on ZD-Net. He offers his recommendations on how to become an usability expert (or just usability amateur).
Some excrepts: "I do recommend that you read about usability."
