Street Performer Protocol

The Street Performer Protocol finally got some well deserved attention. There's a discussion at Slashdot (best viewed "Highest Scores First") regarding the First Monday article Street Performer Protocol and Digital Copyrights which is written by the leading designers of the protocol.

It has long been my opinon that this sort of protocol is what is needed to further the efforts of free software developers and in fact anyone who wants to create any sort of digital property without resorting to forceful and restrictive (and unenforcable?) copyright protection scemes.
