The Dead Media Project

I just read the manifesto of the Dead Media Project initiated by Bruce Sterling and Richard Kadrey. It's supposed to look at all the different types of media from a historical and sociological viewpoint, especially those who have disappeared for various reasons. The notes and writings related to the project are pulic domain so it can't be totally uncool, can it(?). :-)
