The Danger of Real-time News
Ted Marks writes about the dangers of real-time news.
Methinks Ted is too cought up in the idea of the big and responsible news-company. Real-time news will happen. If they're not provided by CNN, then by someone else - someone from the general public even. The big news-companies will either have to move with the times and "dump" news out there in real-time, or change dramatically and become in-depth news journals, with more focus on the historical and sociological relevance of the (not so) current events.
